“Psyche meets Psyche”

This is a refined version of a recent work made during the #PlanetInktober challenge (https://twitter.com/sharponlooker/status/1317518343402905602)

This work focuses on a speculative rendering of one of Psyche’s hemispheres, dominated by one single huge crater, more like a patera almost. The crater creates a dichotomy between a more bog-standard asteroid regolith surface and a hard ancient deeper layer less affected by impacts, with tectonic cracks, frozen mineral flows and ray systems.
