About the work: Psyche: coming to a planet near you. I wanted to experiment with the way we represent Psyche now and the very distinct shape it has before we eventually see it face-to-face as it spirals towards the viewer. Taking inspiration from topography and contour maps, the 3D printed asteroid—dry brushed in blushes and metallics—features a rosy idea for what could be on this lonely asteroid object.
