About the work: “Curiosity” is a piece that marks the beginning of one’s journey to find one’s soul. The figure is colorless and blank because they have not found their soul yet. The Psyche asteroid represents their soul, and the figure discovers it on its journey through the universe. It’s meant to symbolize the initial discovery of the soul: in unfamiliar terrain and a little out of reach, but it’s there. The curiosity behind what lies inside will beckon the figure forth and begin their journey to find their soul.
