Annie (age 6) decided that she MUST go to our ‘space themed’ school disco as Psyche 16. Together we spent hours learning more and more about this awesome asteroid and the upcoming mission. We used papier-mâché and leftover packaging from our online covid shopping to create the costume. We painted it over 3 nights to try for a realistic look … Annie checking multiple images to ensure it was realistic enough. She wrote out her favourite Psyche 16 facts on a sign to share with her class mates.
We continue to follow the mission with great interest and Annies costume now sits proudly next to her bed .
