About the work: I was deeply inspired by the idea of the asteroid being named after the Goddess Psyche. I find there is great beauty in the connection between godliness and the universe, as I often find my own religion within the vastness of space. In my digital illustration, I wanted to incorporate both elements of the asteroid and the Goddess into one, where she flows into space, and space flows into her, representing not only the connection through the name, but the idea that all things are one.
