PROJECT DESCRIPTION

“Deep Space Metallurgy”

The path that we’ve decided to take our project in is the creation of an induction heating system that will function on Psyche. The goal of this heater will be to melt the metal found on Psyche, allowing for the production of tools and equipment on-site.

This work was created in partial fulfillment of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Capstone Course “ME 471”.
