Previous capstone teams have developed mobile apps that were purely informative and educational. In an effort to augment the informational apps, the Psyche mission seeks a new approach to encourage and maintain the public interest in the mission.
The Psyche capstone “Nickel” team will help accomplish this goal by designing and building a fun game app that targets the general public worldwide. The app is required to be functional on iOS and Android platforms. The app must be interactive, demonstrating the innovation and excitement of the mission. The app will be designed to create a connection to the mission by allowing the audience to actively experience and participate in an enjoyable space adventure, leading up to the scheduled Psyche mission launch in 2022.
