About the work: Psyche is the Greek goddess of the soul. Her namesake, the Psyche asteroid, is of course the soul of the mission. However, spirit alone is not enough to achieve our lofty goals. As humans, we have used our intellect to forge a path of innovation. I wanted to create an image that captured the marriage of soul and mind, represented by the goddess Psyche and the Psyche spacecraft respectively.
