16-Psyche looms large in the drawing, a silvery-blue mass with gritty swirls of dark blue and purple running across its surface. Two large craters align on its equator and a massive golden crack creeps around the north pole. The asteroid sinks into white-capped bright red clouds while wisps of greens and blues appear from behind and below the asteroid and clouds. An animation depicts 16-Psyche in the center, and the Psyche spacecraft emerges from behind it. The satellite completes an orbit around the asteroid, and it is closely followed by an undulating mass of colors, reminiscent of the mission’s logo: pink, purple, orange, and yellow. As the swirling colors trail the satellite, they reveal the Psyche Mission logo. After the satellite has completed its orbit, the logo implodes towards the center of the screen, and 16-Psyche reemerges.

It shows the humiliation the Greek goddess felt after being cast away from Cupid for breaking her promise to not look at him. Containing space in a box seems impossible, but this piece attempts to do just that. As the Psyche asteroid and orbiter float in a box, viewers of this piece control an outside temperature sensor that activates LED lights, which are used to represent stars. The higher the temperature, the more twinkling stars surround Psyche. The image shows Psyche’s famous two craters, and the asteroid’s elemental color changes.

Psyche is depicted as a robot that is androgynous, humanoid in shape, and skeletal. Its body is metallic, silvery, and accented with brassy, gold-like colors. It appears old and vaguely steampunk. Its head is cocked inquisitively to one side, and it has two large, lopsided eyes that are reminiscent of the giant craters on the asteroid. "Psychebot" is written above the robot, appropriately labeling the character.
