Project Description
We were tasked with designing an interactive model that will not only educate kids (roughly middle school) about the Psyche mission but also excite them about engineering and science. Because of the complexity of the technology that is aboard the mission, it is our job to make a prototype that explains key technology that is used on the mission. The team came up with the concept of the maze helps to show the purpose of the magnetometer which detects the presence of magnetic field lines. The user holds the magnetic viewing film and as the user gets closer to the end of the maze the more concentrated the magnetic field lines become.
