About the work: I was greatly inspired by the visualizations of the asteroid’s magnetic field. When I first saw them, I thought of a peacock feather. I was drawn to the colors and intricacy of the lines. I wanted to approach this project with abstraction, and attempted to give the piece a retro feel.
