PROJECT DESCRIPTION

“Accretion”

A cosmic journey to unveil 16 Psyche, a rare asteroid thought to be the metallic core of a lost planet. Rich in iron and nickel, Psyche offers clues to planetary formation and the mysteries of our solar system’s ancient past.

This work was created in partial fulfillment of the Arizona State University Capstone Course “GRA 461”. The work is a result of the Psyche Student Collaborations component of NASA’s Psyche Mission (https://psyche.asu.edu). “Psyche: A Journey to a Metal World” [Contract number NNM16AA09C] is part of the NASA Discovery Program mission to solar system targets.
