#SewPsyched
Take part in the creation of the Psyche asteroid at ASU’s Tempe Campus. The myriad of shapes, textures, and colors on Psyche allows space and #MissionToPsyche crafters the opportunity to engage in the science of Psyche by crocheting, knitting, sewing, braiding, latch hooking, etc. to feature individual aspects of the Psyche asteroid (e.g., craters, metal spires, flaps, offset cracks) that, when combined, can be exhibited together in an interesting and creative expression of the unique Psyche surface.
Materials applicable for creation (see examples)
- Yarn
- Paper
- Strips of fabric
